Gardening Project - Sunken Garden Coffee Morning

Thanks to everyone who turned up to the Sunken Garden Coffee Morning. It was a good turnout considering the Weather. Well done to Dorinda Montgomery and Jeal Keal who organized free coffee from McDonald, thank you, and Jean Keal, who arranged for the Garden to be opened for the morning. People really enjoyed the space and lots of great ideas came pouring out, from Tree Decorating, to Raised Beds, Facilities for Birds, Benches, Growing Veg. Bee Hives It was generally  agreed that we need to see more colour and make the Garden ours again. We can make this a focal point for our estate, and in regeneration the gardens and other areas of the estate, we so regenerate our community. A list of everything has been sent to Affinity Sutton and The Royal Horticultural Society. It was also felt we shoul try and involve the RSPB, The Police and some BEE people. The is a lot of excitement and expectation with this project. If you want to join in , please email, call or send a letter to the Cats postbox.
