Ideas for the Sunken Garden

Ideas from Residents and Committee for the Sunken Garden
Night Lighting - movement sensitive lights.
Benches
Raised beds - for vegetables. accessible to wheelchair users
Small childrens growing section.
Some Grass.
Bird Boxes, Bird Tables , Bird Baths
Water Feature.
Trees and plant need pruning. Beds cleaned.
Fruit trees
More Colour - roses, fuscia, dahlia,peonies
Handrails on steps
Nature Board, tree and plant labelling - education

Potholes - need to be fixed.
Benches painted in pastel colours. also some railing.
Trellis on interior and exterior fencing.

Can the RHS give us advice on what plants , fruit , trees shrubs to plant. The area doesnt gey a lot of light.
