THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA UPDATES
Join us and get involved in the Council’s Climate Week 2015! A week to show how we can combat climate change!
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea will be celebrating Climate Week this year from Monday 2 to Sunday 8 March 2015.
The Council will be hosting a number of community-based events across Kensington and Chelsea where you can learn more about what is being done to combat climate change, both locally and nationally. This is a great opportunity for RBKC residents and community groups to find out how you can reduce your carbon footprint and also what you can do to save energy in your home. If you are interested in leading the way in reducing carbon emissions in your local area, consider joining RBKC climate week.
Some of the exciting events we’ve got lined up throughout the borough include:
· A tour of the borough’s biggest kitchen garden
· Carbon conversations at the farmers’ market with Imperial College
· An eco treasure hunt in Holland park for children and parents with Ecology Centre
· A film screening where Repowering London will be showcasing successful community energy projects developed by other communities in London.
