Chickenshed Kensington & Chelsea's Children’s Theatre will be joined by performers from The Royal College of Music, The Brit School and the Rhythm Studio – plus special guests – to bring you a festive blend of traditional, modern and original music. Bring your family and friends to celebrate, sing and enjoy a beautiful Christmas Carol service with a difference.

Children will not want to miss a very special guest, and there will be mulled wine and mince pies served after the concert!

The South Ken Kids Festival is back from 17 to 23 November! With over 20 children’s book artists invited (including Quentin Blake, the festival's beloved patron) and more than 50 events on the programme, the Institut français aims to make the festival’s 17th edition a key rendezvous for schools and families in the London area.

7th August 21August workshops inspired by  current exhibitions Pangaea and Abstract America. No booking required, just drop into the education room to get involved. 
17th August Manga expert Samuele Falzone will be presenting a master class in creating Manga drawings. Participants will learn about the history of Japanese Comics before developing their own characters and storyboards. For ages 7+ 11am - 1pm £5 per participant
 31 August creative and crafty workshops exploring African designs through printing and sewing. All ages Drop in 10.30am - 3pm  FREE

Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Exercise Sessions
The New Horizons Centre 
Friday the 22nd August 2014
12.00-1pm followed by half hour support in the Cafe   

Supported by NHS Kensington and Chelsea, 
New Horizons helps people
over 50 to maintain active, healthy lifestyles and enjoy life to their full 
potential. This 8-week course gives breast cancer survivors the opportunity to regain confidence and fitness and to meet with like minded 
people. Taught by a specially qualified exercise professional, each session consists of 1 hour of safe and effective individualised exercise 
followed by a half hour of informal social time. The course is limited to 8 
individuals and participants must be referred by their specialist practice 
nurse or cancer unit.
The cost is £1.25 per session.
